Hello, I am sharing recipe of Paneer Tikka

It’s very  famous restaurant recipe which is made very easily in home.

Ingredients -

1. Paneer cubes - 250 gm

2. Diced Capsicum - 1 Piece

3. Diced Onion - 1 Big

4. Diced Tomato - 1 Big (Deseeded)

5. Thick Curd - 1 Cup

6. Ginger-garlic-green chilli paste - 1 Tbsp

7. Roasted Jeera - 1.5 Tsp

8. Roasted gram powder - 2 Tbsp

9. Chaat Masala - 1 Tbsp
10. Lemon Juice - 1

11. Pepper powder - 1/2 Tsp

12. Kashuri Methi - 1 Tsp

13. Garam Masala - 1/2 Tsp

14. Black salt - 1/2 Tsp

15. Mustard oil - 2 Tbsp

16. Butter - 1 Tsp

17. Kashmiri chilli - 2 Tsp

18. Turmeric powder - 1Tsp

19. Salt - As per taste



Recipe - 

  • Take a big bowl
  • Add 1 cup thick/hung curd
  • Add 1 tsp of turmeric powder
  • add 1 tsp of Kashmiri red chilli powder
  • Add 1 lemon juice
  • Add 1/2 tsp black salt
  • Add rock salt as per taste
  • Add 1 tsp crushed dried kauri methi
  • Add 1/2 tsp pepper powder
  • Add 1 tbsp ginger garlic green chilli paste
  • Add 1.5 tsp roasted jeera powder
  • Add 1 tbsp chaat masala
  • Add 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • Add 2 tbsp roasted gram powder/sattu
  • Heat a tadka pan and add 2 tbsp of mustard oil and heat till it smokes up
  • Add immediately in the marinate for tandoori flavour
  • Add diced onions, capsicum, tomato and paneer cubes
  • Gently coat well with hand
  • Now marinate in refrigerator for 1-2 hours
  • Take out and again coat well
  • now put it is skewer (bamboo one for pan and steel one for flame roasting)
  • Now Pan roasting method -
    heat a grill pan and add 1/2 tsp butter and 1/2 tsp sunflower oil and place the skewer and roast from all side till it gets golden brown. Now serve on the plate and serve with green chutney and masala lachcha onions
  • Cook top roasting -
     Switch on the flame and place a coal on the flame and now start rotating steel skewer with tikka.Make sure it should not touch the flame and roast it while rotating the skewer. Once done switch off the flame and keep the tikka as it is for sometime so that tikka gets more smoky.
  • Once done plate on the serving plate and baste some butter, lemon juice and sprinkle some chaat masala.
  • Serve them with green chutney and masala lachcha onions
  • Serve hot and enjoy with your loved ones
