It’s very yummy and interesting recipe. It’s very different recipe which is rarely found in restaurant as well.
Ingredients for first marination -
1. Chicken winglets - 10 Pieces (Cut loose meat from bone and push down to create a lollipop shape
2. Pepper Powder - 1/4th Tsp
3. Ginger-garlic paste - 2 Tsp
4. Lemon juice - 1 Lemon
5. Salt - 1 Tsp
Ingredients for second marination -
1.Cornflour - 2 Tbsp
2. Maida - 3 Tbsp
3. Egg - 1 Piece
4. Kashmiri red chilli - 1.5 Tsp
5. Soy sauce - 1 Tsp
Ingredients for Gravy -
1. Chopped Garlic - 1 Tbsp
2. Onion chopped - 3 Tbsp
3. Chopped spring onion -1 Tbsp
4. Schezwan sauce - 3 Tbsp
5. Soy sauce - 1 Tbsp
6. Tomato ketchup - 2 Tbsp
7. Sugar - 1 Tbsp
8. CornFlour slurry - 3/4 Tbsp cornflour + 4 Tbsp water
9. Salt - As per taste
Recipe -
- Take 8-10 chicken winglets in shape of lollipops in a big bowl
- Add 1 tsp salt
- Add 1/4th tsp pepper powder
- Add 2tsp ginger-garlic paste
- Add 1 lemon juice
- Coat well all the chicken pieces
- Leave it covered for 30 mins
- After 30 mins coat once again
- Now add 2 tbsp of maida
- Add 2 tbsp of cornflour
- Add 1 egg
- Add 1 tbsp of Kashmiri chilli powder
- Add 1 tsp of soy sauce
- And coat well all the pieces
- Leave to marinate for 2-8 hours
- Now Heat a pan on medium flame
- And add sunflower oil to fry all chicken lollipops pieces
- Drop while circling one piece in the oil and similarly drop 4-5 pieces in oil
- Deep fry lollipops on medium flame till they are crispy
- It will take 7-8 mins to fry
- Take out all fried pieces on absorbent paper
- Similarly fry all remaining chicken pieces and you can enjoy these fried lollipops as well with green chutney.
- Now heat another pan on medium flame
- Add 2 tbsp of sunflower oil
- Add 1 tbsp chopped garlic and 1 tbsp of grated ginger
- Saute for 10-15 seconds to remove raw smell
- Add 3 tbsp chopped onions
- Saute for 2-3 mins till it turns transparent or pink in colour
- Add 3 tbsp of schezwan sauce and mix well
- Add 2 tbsp of tomato ketchup and 1 tbsp of soy sauce
- Saute for 10-15 seconds
- Add 1tsp of vinegar and 1 tbsp of sugar and salt as per taste
- Saute for 10-15 seconds
- Prepare cornflour slurry with mixing 3/4 tbsp cornflour and 4 tbsp water
- Saute’ for 1-2 mins and add all fried chicken lollipop pieces
- And coat well gently with help of spatula
- Garnish with spring onions or coriander leaves
- Serve hot and enjoy with your loved ones
Lets see some key Points in preparation -

- Marinate lollipops in first marinate for min 30 mins
- Marinate lollipops in second marination for min 3-4 hours
- Deep fry the lollipops in oils
- Make the masala and coat the lollipops and garnish with spring onions and serve it hot.
