Grilled Water Chestnut Salad || Pani Phal Salad




Hi Friends,


I am here with you sharing my new recipe of grilled water chestnut salad. Very simple and healthy salad recipe. 



Lets see the ingredients first and then step by step recipe -

Ingredients 

1. Raw Pani Phal/chestnut - 400 gm

2. Chopped onion - 1 medium size

3. Chopped capsicum - 1 medium size

4. Boiled corn - 1/2 cup

5. Lemon juice - 1 

6.  pepper powder - 1 tsp

7. Paprika powder - 1/2 tsp

8. Chaat masala - 1 tsp

9. Chili flakes - 1/2 tsp

10. Salt - as per taste

Recipe - 

  1. Boil 1 litre of water in a big bowl.
  2. Add 1tbsp of salt
  3. Once it start boiling add 400gm of water chestnut
  4. Boil for 10-15 mins until cooked properly.
  5. Turn off the flame and dip them into cold water
  6. Once cold, peel chestnut with knife and dice them.
  7. Heat a kadhai on low flame
  8. Add 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  9. Add diced onion and sauté
  10. Add capsicum and sauté
  11. Add 1/2 cup boiled corn and sauté
  12. Add all dry masala and salt and sauté well
  13. Turn off the flame and add lemon juice 
  14. It’s ready to serve with optionally adding herbs
