Hello, I am sharing recipe of Makki Di Roti. It’s very simple yet delicious preparation.

Ingredients -
- Makki or Maize flour - 1 Cup
- Grated radish - 2 medium size
- Chopped coriander leaves - 2 Tbsp
- Grated ginger - 1 inch (Optional)
- Chopped green chilli - 1-2 (Optional)
- Ghee/Oil - 1 Tbsp + Roasting
- Salt - As per taste
Recipe -
- Add 1 cup water in kadhai
- keep flame on medium
- Add salt on roaring boil
- Add 1 tbsp ghee
- Add 1 inch grated ginger & chopped green chilli
- (optional)
- Add 2 grated medium sized radish
- Add 1 cup maize flour
- ratio of maize flour:water = 1:1
- combine well on low flame
- Turn off flame
- Cover and cool to lukewarm
- Transfer in big bowl
- Add 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
- Add 1 spoon water
- Knead into soft dough
- Take maize flour for dusting
- Make a small dough ball
- Dust dough ball
- Roll dough ball into thin roti
- Heat a tawa on medium flame
- Put roti on tawa
- Flip roti to other side
- Lets puff/roast roti in three ways -
1st way - Puffing roti on direct flame
2nd way - Puffing roti on tawa
3rd way - roasting roti with ghee on tawa - prepare remaining roti
- Once it is done serve Makki di roti with sarson da saag
